  •  "Hopes/Koru-Frond"
  •              The positive and negative of the koru.
  • The space between, the empty space, balances that which is there.
  • The koru is a recurring symbol throughout NZ art.
  •  It derives directly from the unfurling of the young fern frond. It represents New Life and Growth.

  • Jewellery Care

NZ Greenstone with silver is high quality nacre, the same material as pearls. DO NOT use chemical cleaning dips, as these can eat into the natural shell. Gentel polishing with silver polish or a silver polishing cloth will restore the lustre and shine.

  • New Zealand Greenstone

Greenstone or Pounamu was always the most precious of things for Maori. Because of its hardness and toughness, it made the best tools, the best weapons, as well as the most beautiful ornaments, and was regarded like diamonds.

What Maori call their spiritual connectedness with Jade, has led all New Zealanders to love and respect it, and to regard it as our National Stone.
